Asking for help isn't giving up, rather it's refusing to be defeated.

My practice

I offer a warm, caring and confidential service for young people and adults.

Whether you are struggling today, wanting to heal from past hurts, or needing to problem solve for the future, I will partner with you to take you to a better place.  I can help you recognise underlying problems, process life difficulties, recognise your strengths, challenge unhelpful thoughts or work alongside you, teaching coping skills to help you live life in a more positive way. Alternatively, my counselling room can be a safe, reflective space to share things that you may find difficult to discuss with others.

An educational background in clinical psychology and a wide range of experience with children, young people and adults means that I have a variety of skills to meet your needs. I value having a holistic and flexible approach and use evidence-based methods. I tailor my practice to each person, using directive  methods like cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), Gestalt and solution focused techniques, or more creative methods, with a person-centred approach, I am comfortable working with people of all ages and all backgrounds, including those who are neurodiverse.

I offer both face to face and online counselling.  for individuals, I am also able to provide mental health and wellbeing education, parenting support, peer supervision and group therapy.

About me

I enjoy travel and adventure. I have worked in Guernsey, in the UK, in the USA and in West Africa. I am married to a Guernseyman and am Mum to 4 children. My favourite place to be is outside, especially by the sea. As well as being a people-person, I also really like animals.

I am passionate about helping people find solutions to things that cause distress and to develop more satisfaction in their life and relationships. I have learned so much from personal experience and from journeying with others. Life is wonderful, but never easy. Developing self-awareness and having trustworthy people to support us along the way can make all the difference to our well-being.
